This course is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in the Emergency Services. Once the student passes his/her NQEMT (National Qualification in Emergency Medical Technology) at EMT level they will be invited to apply to the examining body PHECC (Pre- Hospital Emergency Care Council) for an EMT license and to be put on the national register. Once qualified, applications can be made for work within the private sector and also to the HSE for patient transfer positions.
