General Aims of the Cardiac First Responder course
The Cardiac First Response - Advanced course is delivered by the Irish Ambulance Training Institute and will provide students with the knowledge and skills to respond to and assist at any medical or trauma incident. Implementing the chain of survival and applying care to the standards set down by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council and Irish Heart Foundation.
Method of Delivery
The Cardiac First Response - Advanced course will utilise both theory and practical learning which will encourage student participation and feedback and ensure strong knowledge of practical skills.
Duration: 1 Day (09:30 - 17:00)
Learners on the Cardiac First Response - Advanced will be assessed through skills demonstrations and a multiple choice theory exam
Following successful completion of this PHECC Acredited Cardiac First Response - Advanced course, learners will be awarded a Cardiac First Response - Advanced certificate.
